In its 2013-14 rankings of the best children’s medical facilities in the United States, U.S. News & World Report has again placed Children’s Hospital Colorado among the top 10 in a field of nearly 200. The hospital has achieved a spot in the top 10 annually since the publication began the listings. And physicians in the Rocky Mountain region have selected Children’s Hospital Colorado as their personal choice for care of their own loved ones every year for nearly a decade.
The publication put Children’s Hospital Colorado in a ranked position for all 10 of the focus practice areas listed. In six of these areas, U.S. News & World Report listed the hospital among the top 10: neonatal care, gastroenterology and gastroenterology-related surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, pulmonology, cancer care, and orthopedic treatment.
For more than a century, Children’s Hospital Colorado has served residents of its Denver area community and beyond. The hospital functions as a private nonprofit facility devoted to pursuing innovative research into pediatric illnesses and providing high-quality, family-friendly care in a child-centered environment.
