On Friday, April 11, 2014, the Denver Art Museum (DAM) held its Uncorked Wine Tasting event, one of the museum’s most successful fundraisers. Presented by Applejack Wine & Spirits and designed with the needs of wine novices and experts alike in mind, the evening offered over 400 wines drawn from all over the world in addition to hors d’oeuvres and tasting guides. Tickets for the event were available at several levels. Whereas full-price tickets went for $125, those for DAM members and designated drivers went for $90 and $45, respectively. All ticket levels included admission to the DAM on the 11th.
Following the wine tasting, which has become one of the can’t-miss events of the year for Denver wine lovers, the DAM held its Uncorked Dinner & Auction. The affair started at 6 p.m. on April 12 with a cocktail reception and silent auction at which guests bade on rare wines, access to private art collections, and more. Scott Reiman served as one of the premier sponsors for both the Uncorked Wine Tasting and Uncorked Dinner & Auction.
