Sponsoring a Student through the Denver Scholarship Foundation

Denver Scholarship Foundation logo pic The Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) helps individuals realize their higher-education dreams with financial and ongoing academic support both in high school and after matriculation at an institution of higher learning. Benefactors can sponsor students through a number of different programs. A gift of $2,000 can support a scholar at a technical school or community college for an entire academic year, while a donation of $4,000 provides for a scholar at a Colorado four-year college or university.

In return for sponsorship, donors earn an invitation to the organization’s annual Graduation Celebration at the Governor’s Residence and gain the opportunity to attend events on college campuses with DSF program alumni. Donors also have access to the Annual Scholarship Report, which details the impact of contributions.

Recently, the DSF established the Denny-Stanford Scholarship for the Arts to honor Dorothy Denny and Gully Stanford, who supported the arts and higher education in the Denver metropolitan area for many years. By contributing to this scholarship fund, donors recognize the contribution of these great philanthropists while providing educational funding for students with great artistic talent.
