In its 15th year as a benefit for the Denver Art Museum, Uncorked! consists of two back-to-back events: Friday night’s tasting and silent auction, where 900 oenophiles gathered at the museum to sample from the 300 international and domestic wines that were accompanied by hors d’oeuvres from Kevin Taylor Catering, and Saturday’s Uncorked Reserve, a $400-a-plate dinner with wine pairings, also held at the museum.

Virginia Reiman and Tricia Youssi chaired the weekend’s festivities, and are reporting that $560,000 was raised, bringing the cumulative total to $5.8 million. Presenting sponsors were Applejack Wine & Spirits and UMB Bank.

The women are no strangers to leadership roles. Reiman and her husband, Scott, a member of the museum’s board of trustees, are past chairs of the Children’s Hospital Gala. Youssi chaired the 2012 MAX Fashion Show, also a benefit for Children’s.
